Abstract: The designer design the Jokhang temple in yellow color, emphasize the landmark position status in Lhasa. It create a pure and holy buddist surrounding in the night.
Jokhang Temple in the center of Lhasa, it means buddist temple in Tibetan. Because of the golden decoration in the rooftop and inner house, and it shine goldenly under the sunshine. So, it has as dreamy as its name, the Golden Temple. Tibetans, in general, consider this temple as the most sacred and important temple in Tibet. The temple is currently maintained by the Gelug school, but they accept worshipers from all sects of Buddhism. The temple's architectural style is a mixture of Indian vihara design, Tibetan and Nepalese design.

Main entrance
The main entrance of the Jokhang Temple is a concave space which consists of entrance building, willow and stele.The whole dark space for the buddist believer to pay respect for buddha. And throw light in the holy things of the shinning of the strong contrast and material performance, fully expressed the revere the god.
Main Palace
Sontzen gampo rule locate in the main position of the forth of Jokhang Temple. In there, the lighting of main palace is the core of the whole buiding, the use of the roof cast light and lighting in the form of fixed-point cast light in the distance build a glittering lighting effect to express our revere to the god.
